Hi, I'm Glenn. Thanks for dropping by.

I've always had the desire to be creative - a sort of innate urge constantly bubbling under the surface. I grew up in a household where there was always music and creativity - my father was an established professional musician, and my sister an aspiring photographer, so from a young age I knew that these were things I wanted to do, things I felt comfortable being around.

My first 'camera' was one I made myself as a child, out of an old detergent bottle, cardboard tubes (as a lens), bits of lego and a lot of sticky tape. I would run around the house 'filming' my family going about their day. In many ways, I was a pioneer of the 'fly-on-the-wall' documentary!. Even then, I knew that the idea of making films and taking pictures excited me.

I would graduate from Middlesex University with an Honours Degree in Media Production and Film some years later.

I have worked periodically as a freelancer with several companies and clients over the years, from the BBC to Ben Sherman, but photography and film-making still remain a passion and a hobby (when not being paid!)
Story-telling through a lens is something that still inspires me, and the examples of my work show the diversity and breadth of subjects that fascinate me - people, places, nature, architecture. I approach the creative process with the same philosophy as I apply to life; the beauty is in simplicity, never too much, never too little - just enough.

Whilst pictures can tell a story, I feel that a true emotional connection comes from music. I use music as my outlet, a way to escape, and a way to tap into a more emotive creative stream inside myself. I have been playing musical instruments for as long as I can remember; first keyboards (thanks dad!), then drums, guitar and bass - all self taught. I still get a childlike excitement about playing music, and picking up an instrument and making it 'sing'. Ironically, singing is the one thing I have never been able to master! The clips of music on my website are from one of my more recent music endeavours, as bass player with the band Divebell, but there have been many before, and hopefully many to come. I don't think I'll ever stop playing.
